Guests Show Up to Wedding Only to Find Out That the Bride Had Cancelled

Reading from a sheet of paper as she cried, the mother stood in front of the guests and said, "With a heavy heart, my family and I wish to inform you that, due to certain reasons, the bride cancelled the wedding at the very last minute.

"Because of this last-minute cancellation, I was unable to inform each guest personally as, at that moment, I did not have the strength and could not handle answering all the questions that would have been asked."

"So, I made the decision to go ahead with the event, not because all the preparations were done, but because I needed to personally explain the situation. With the bride’s cancellation, my family and I decided to hold a prayer session led by an ustaz and the tahfiz students," she added.

The admirably calm groom also made a speech, saying, “First and foremost, I want to thank Allah SWT for allowing us to be here, even though the original plan did not go as we had hoped…Thank you for taking the time to come and gather with us. In another video, the man answered questions, seemingly as part of a TikTok live. He said that the bride had carried out the cancellation of the akad nikah ceremony from the beginning of September till the middle of the month.

He also hinted at there being a third party, saying, “I don’t really have the information that I need about that guy.” He also said that he wouldn’t do anything to him.

He said his mother was crying because the hall was filled with family and guests who wanted to see her son getting married. He also explained that he had started dating the woman on 25 May 2022 and “I still have the feelings of love.”
