M'sia Taxi Drivers Group to Hold Rally in Support of PM Anwar This September
In response to the ‘Turun Anwar’ rally that took place last Saturday (July 26), a group representing taxi drivers has announced plans to hold another rally on September 27. This time, however, the gathering is intended to express support for the current Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

As reported by FMT, the rally-dubbed ‘Kekal Anwar’, aims to highlight public support for Anwar's leadership and his unity administration’s reform efforts.
It is understood that the rally will be held on September 27, 2026, at Dataran Merdeka, the same venue where the previous rally took place.
Gabungan Teksi SeMalaysia president Kamarudin Hussain said they believe Anwar Ibrahim has the vision and capability to steer Malaysia toward a more just and prosperous future.

“We may only represent a small segment of society, but we believe our voice and presence will have an impact, not only within the country but also in the eyes of the international community,” he said.
Kamarudin, who is also the former Selayang PKR chief, extended a formal invitation to Anwar Ibrahim to attend the rally in person.
He also invited students, civil society groups, and political parties under both Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional to join the rally, urging them to stand together in expressing support for the current government.
