Malaysia Floorball Team Clinches Bronze Medal at Special Olympics Winter Games
The floorball national team made the country proud by securing a notable bronze medal at the Special Olympics Winter Games held in Turin, Italy.
Malaysia's Muhammad Iqbal, Thamillarasan Satiaselen, Sarvinraj Chanthiran, Muhammad Adam, Muhammad Harash, Safirul Mohd Sapri, Kok Mun Xun, along with unified partners Gursharan Kaur, Danish Abdul Razak, Pavitraa Puvaneswaran, and Saknarin Chua, triumphed over Saudi Arabia with a 5-2 victory in the men's-mixed unified category playoff.

Special Olympics Malaysia (SOM) president Bong Koi Sin expressed immense pride for Malaysia.
"We are extremely proud of our athletes for their dedication and perseverance," Koi Sin stated in a release today (March 17).
"This accomplishment reflects their commitment and the unwavering support from our coaches, families, and sponsors who believe in the power of inclusive sports."

Koi Sin further emphasised SOM's ongoing dedication to nurturing athletes and expanding opportunities for inclusive sports participation nationwide.
The Special Olympics Winter Games unite athletes with intellectual disabilities from around the world, offering them a stage to demonstrate their skills, build friendships, and promote the spirit of inclusivity in sports.
