Boy's Complaint About School Toilets to PMX Goes Viral, Broken Toilets Fixed Within Two Days

During Anwar's visit to the Ramadan bazaar in Kamunting, the pupil informed him on Friday (March 14) that 'two toilets are broken, two are still usable.'

By Sunday (March 16), the repairs were completed, as confirmed by Anwar's political secretary Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim on social media.

"I have received an update on the direct complaint submitted to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim regarding the toilet issues at SK Long Jaafar during the visit to Kamunting Ramadan Bazaar."

"The repairs have now been successfully completed," Kamil stated.

He also mentioned that Anwar consistently urges all members of the Madani government to engage directly with the public and address urgent concerns promptly.

In a 25-second video shared on social media, Kamil included photos showing that the broken toilets at the school have been fully repaired and are ready for use.

Earlier, a short video of pupils raising the issue of broken toilets to Anwar, who stopped to listen and acknowledged them, had gone viral on social media.

The short clip showed a young pupil directly complaining to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim about his school's unusable toilets. In response, Anwar assured the child that he would bring the matter to the attention of Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek.

"Two toilets are broken, two can still be used. I'll have to call Fadhlina (Education Minister) later," Anwar said.

Many in the comments section applauded the young boy's courage in directly informing the prime minister.

"Your level is different. People usually report to the teacher of the class but you report directly to the PM."

Another user commented, "You're the best for directly reporting to the PM. Immediate action will be taken."
