Catch a Dazzling Light Show as Merdeka 118 Lights Up in Marvel's Thunderbolts* Colours Until May 1

The dazzling light show will take place from 8 pm to 12 am on the dates to commemorate the film's release.

Additionally, Malaysia's tallest building and the second tallest building in the world will also make its very first appearance in a Hollywood film, as Marvel's Thunderbolts features a scene where Florence Pugh leaps from the skyscraper.

Directed by Jake Scheier, Marvel's Thunderbolts* follows the story of an unconventional team of antiheroes who went on a dangerous mission after they were ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. The film boasted a star-studded cast like Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell and many more.

Interestingly, the film had some of its scenes filmed in Malaysia. Marvel Studios also worked with local production teams and talents like actress Syaza Atheera.

Marvel's Thunderbolts* is set to greet the audience at the silver screen from May 1, 2025.
